Heh, wow. That’s a great picture.

I wonder if what it says is that we are very good at compartmentalizing — in this case, believing that a healthy person is someone who exercises, and not recognizing that other behaviors also impact health. This type of thinking shows up in so many different situations.

And this is America. These are the people who live here.

What does this SAY about us? That’s what I want to know. That we treat the environment better than we treat ourselves? That we’re really trying to be healthy but some bad habits are just really hard to kick? That maybe we don’t want to commit all the way to being the best we can be?
